Set up IPTV on a MAG box or Formuler
MAG boxes are built for one job, so once they are pointed at the right portal they just work. There is no app to install and no login screen. The one thing to know is that your box is identified by its MAC address, so we register that on our end.
What you’ll use
Recommended player: Built-in portal (Stalker). MAG, Formuler and most STB boxes use a portal URL rather than a username and password. Send us your MAC address and we link it to your subscription.
Have your welcome email handy. It holds your server URL, username, password and M3U link. Not subscribed yet? Grab a plan first.
Step by step
Connect the box and find your MAC
Plug the MAG into your TV and network. The MAC address is printed on a sticker underneath and shown in the box's settings.
Send us the MAC address
Give your MAC to support so we can register it on the portal. Until that is done, the box has nothing to load.
Open the portal settings
On the box, go to Settings, then System settings, then Servers, then Portals.
Enter the portal URL
Type the portal URL from your welcome email into Portal 1 and save it.
Reboot and watch
Restart the box. It connects to the portal, pulls your channel list and opens straight into live TV, no login needed.
Tips that save a headache
- Type the portal URL exactly, including http and any port number. One wrong character and the box loads nothing.
- If channels do not appear, double-check we have registered your MAC. That is the usual culprit, not the URL.
- Formuler and other STB boxes follow the same Servers and Portals path. The wording barely changes.
Common questions
Why does my MAG need its MAC registered?
Portal services tie your subscription to the box's MAC address instead of a password. We add yours to the portal so it is recognised on boot.
There is no username field. Is that normal?
Yes. MAG and Stalker setups use the portal URL plus your registered MAC. There is no separate login to enter.
